PPC and SEO – The Lines are Blurring

It wasn’t too long ago that there was a distinct line between building sites for PPC and building sites for SEO.

PPC sites were thin… just enough content to get by, with little or no added value for the end user. The focus was purely on conversions… nothing more and nothing less. PPC sites would typically be a single page of content.

This is no longer the case… the lines are blurring quickly. SEO sites were always content-rich, with pages and pages of valuable articles and information for the users to plow through in their quest for information and knowledge.

Nowadays, with Google forcing the “good user experience” down the throats of PPC marketers, people are being forced to build richer sites with lots of content. I won’t tackle the subject of why this is being done, or what my real opinion of how Google is handling it is, but let’s just say that it is what it is, and SEO tactics slowly coming into play in the PPC arena. Ignore this fact at your own peril. It will cost you to do so.

Over the coming weeks I’ll discuss some of the tactics I have been employing to make Google happy. You’d be surprised at what will work. Most of these tactics cost little or no money. There are a few special tools that make it a heck of a lot easier, but none of them will break the bank to buy.

Check back again soon for some updates on the PPC – SEO connection.

Now, go make some money!

Be blessed,

Curt

More on Outsourcing For Internet Marketers

Several weeks back I posted about the fact that I had hired a young guy from the Philippines to start working for me. I was excited about the prospects of having an employee to help me out with stuff, allowing me to concentrate more on the logistics of the business and less on manual tasks from day to day.

Fast forward 3 1/2 months and I now have 3 full-time employees, who all live in the Philippines!

Let me just say that hiring these 3 guys has been a great decision.  I haven’t actually had them working on any of my PPC campaigns yet, with regard to keyword research or anything similar, but I have put them to work building me some new landing pages, complete sites and doing lots of SEO work on existing sites.

After having them onboard for a few months, the pieces of the puzzle are starting to come together and th efuture is looking good.

Let me just say that if you’re a full-time affiliate or internet marketer, do yourself a favor and hire someone to help you out. You won’t regret it.

Outsourcing for Internet Marketers

I have just recently hired a new worker. He doesn’t live here in the U.S. He lives in the Philippines!

I just can’t seem to keep caught up on all of my tasks lately and needed some help, so I took the plunge and hired someone.

The guy I hired seems like a real bright kid, with a lot of knowledge and ambition. He seems to have a desire to work and accomplish things. This is good!

Right now, I need to spend the next couple of days preparing for having a full-time employee, geting a list of stuff ready for him to do for me.

I’ll keep you posted as to how things progress over the coming weeks and months.

I’m excited about it all.

Now, go and make some money!

Be blessed,

Curt
