Well, thanks to some very-much-disliked people, I have found a way to get new ideas and then use those ideas to home in on niches that are profitable. This doesn’t mean that there’s no longer any work involved, but it does give me some direction and help me find a starting point.

The best thing about this method is that it happens to be right in front of our faces and most of us just miss it completely!

You’re missing out on some very valuable information! Your web server logs can help you find missing pieces to the traffic puzzle.

Did you know that your web server logs will show you exactly how people get to your web site?? That’s right. They’ll show you the exact search terms that people used to find your site… and some of those search terms are probably costing you money that you shouldn’t be spending.

Go ahead. Log in to your web server and view the logs. Look through the list of search terms that are shown and shake your head in wonder. Then, when you’re done shaking your head, start doing some copying and pasting.

Copy those words that have nothing to do with your site’s content and use them as negative keywords.

Then scan through the list and see if you can use the remaining searches to come up with new keywords to add to your PPC campaigns.

Go ahead. I dare you to check your web server logs!

Now, go and make some money!
